I found this in the 'Kentish Express' dated 21st October 1916:“BURNAGE - GRAMOPHONES AND LATEST RECORDS. 28 & 30. North Street, Ashford. Telephone: 86.”...and this in the 9th December 1922 edition:“HAVE MUSIC IN YOUR HOME - Choose your INSTRUMENT now at BURNAGES, Central Galleries, Ashford. Phone: 86. A Complete Stock of HIS MASTER'S VOICE, ZONOPHONE, and WINNER Records in Stock.”...and this in the 9th June 1923 edition:“H. BURNAGE, APPOINTED AGENT to the GRAMOPHONE Co., Ltd., ALL NEW RECORDS IN STOCK, 82, High Street, Ashford.”...plus this in the 28th August 1926 edition:“BURNAGE - Everything Musical. PIANOS, SHEET MUSIC, PLAYER-PIANOS, GRAMOPHONES, RECORDS, MARCONIPHONE & STERLING WIRELESS. Come to The house of Sound Repute: 82, High St., ASHFORD. 'Phone 281.”
