I found this advert in the 'Portsmouth Evening News' dated 10th February 1960: “BOYDS OF BOND STREET. Britain's leading Piano, Radio. and T.V. Retailers. Established 1832. Call at your local branch today - BOYDS OF BOND STREET, 70 LONDON ROAD, PORTSMOUTH (Corner of Kirby Road). Also at WEST STREET, FAREHAM.”

I found this piece in the 'Glamorgan Gazette' dated 3rd June 1966:
“BOYDS OF BOND STREET Proudly announce the OFFICIAL OPENING OF THEIR RECORD BAR BY WALES' OWN FABULOUS POP STAR BEANO Who will be in attendance during the day to autograph all record purchases. Make a note of the date now, Saturday June 4 at Boyds 111 COMMERCIAL STREET, MAESTEG.”
