Bogus Bros
Bogus grew out of a wholefoods business called Grain in 1971/72 and traded until 1977 when it closed for good. Bogus sold second hand records, as well as books, clothes and such compulsory mid-70s subcultural products as incense and perfumes.
The black and white photo below shows proprietor Roger Hudson outside the shop.

They used to visit the University market every week. Bought loads of stuff there.

This is great to see. As a youngster I would visit this shop three or four times a week, as they got the latest American comic book imports, and had boxes and boxes of comics on the floor to sort through. They also had a brilliant selection of science fiction books too. I was 13 when it closed and I was absolutely gutted.
