I found this piece about Andy's Records in the 'Cambridge Daily News' dated 25th July 1985: “It was as an 18-year-old straight out of school that Andy, now 35, bought second-hand jukebox records and sold them from market stalls. He still finds his own name appearing on everything from television adverts to carrier bags, something of an embarrassment but confesses he got the idea from a friend who had a stall called Clive’s Records. It was in Cambridge that he set up his first permanent market stall, which still exists, and from there his first shop in Mill Road, which will close down, along with the Regent Street outer yard lined with shops and facing the river. The new shop in Fitzroy Street will house everything from chart singles to collectors’ items and will become the largest record store in the city.”
