Wessex Record Shop

I found this announcement in the 'Bookseller' dated 16th October 1965: “THE new bookshop, Wessex Books, is now open at 17 Union Passage, Bath, and parcels addressed either to 'Wessex Books' or 'WESSEX LIBRARIES Ltd.' should be sent to this address (the 13 SOUTHGATE STREET address is cancelled). The proprietor, Mr. W. H. Gallop, was interviewed by the 'Bath & Wilts. Evening Chronicle', which records that the new shop is on the site of Mr. Gallop’s first business venture, the pay-as-you-read library he set up 34 years ago.”
