I found this on page 4 of the 'Cambridge Daily News' dated 18th November 1995: “CAMBRIDGE firm University Audio & Cameras is celebrating 50 years’ trading this year. The company was established in 1945 and in those days traded from premises in St. Mary’s Passage - just around the corner from today’s premises in Peas Hill, a stone’s throw from Cambridge’s bustling market square. The business has always prided itself on a high quality personal service which has been ever-present in the past five decades even as its product range has progressed from selling solely cameras to top-of-the-range high-tech home entertainment centres.”
