Toogees Chiswick Music Centre

My grandfather was the founder of this shop, I believe! Len Green and his business partner. I am now 80 and remember going into his shop as a young child.

I found this in the 'West London Observer' dated 19th August 1932: “BURGOYNE 5-VALVE ALL BRITISH WIRELESS: Mullard Valves. Exide Batteries. 13/3 Deposit. 2/9 per Week. Demonstration in own Home. TOOGEES, 169, HIGH ROAD, CHISWICK. Phone: Chiswick 5879.”
