I found this advert in the 'Derbyshire Advertiser & Journal' dated 6th July 1923: “LARGE STOCK OF PATHEPHONES & RECORDS. Will play with either Needle or Sapphire. Every ACTUELLE Record In Stock. TOMLINSON, Central Music Stores, 46, Osmaston Road, Derby.”
… and this advert in the 'Derby Daily Telegraph' dated 19th July 1956: “THE POOR PEOPLE OF PARIS by Winifred Attwell (Decca); WHO ARE WE by Ronnie Hilton (HMV). See this space for next month’s top ten, all available from TOMLINSONS CENTRAL MUSIC STORES, OSMASTON RD., DERBY and KING ST., BELPER.”
