This shop was and probably still is run by a guy called Dave Morgan. It was mainly a second hand place that would get new releases in that he knew there was a market for or you could order records. It's still there amazingly and I presume is still the same, cold but with great treasure within its racks. Comment: Scott Clark

I spent many a happy hour and cash in Time Machine.

Dave and his mate Chris used to run a record shop in Stafford Street, Wolverhampton in the early 80's and then they moved to Queen Street Wolverhampton around 1981. Both excellent shops great bargains never overpriced. Me and mate Mike spent hours and pounds in there on a Saturday. Really helpful guys.

I found this piece in the 'Sleaford Target' dated 18th June 1997: “We have recently read in a book entitled 'Grantham All Stars' (obtainable from The Time Machine record shop in Grantham) about past times when live music was very popular with audiences who supported the many great local bands.”
