Name: Bruce Vair-Turnbull Comment: This shop was initially owned and run by Steve Tilbury-Warden and later by Peter Sellars. It opened in the early 1970s and closed down at the end of the 1980s. They used to sell new vinyl records. I used to regularly visit the store in 1978 to 1981 and it didn’t seem to have the same vibe as the other record shops in town.
I still have a couple of discs with the 'Tilbury Gig' price tag on. They are Ten Year After Undead which is the image here. I also have Traffic's Mr. Fantasy with a Tilbury Gig price tag. (2022)
