I found this in the 'Sunday Sun (Newcastle)' dated 30th March 1947: “RECORDS - LARGE STOCKS OF ALL MAKES - COLUMBIA, DECCA, BRUNSWICK, REGAL, PARLOPHONE, ETC. THE WIRELESS SHOP, HUGHES & CO. (NEWCASTLE) LTD., 62 NORTHUHBERLAND STREET, NEWCASTLE. TEL 33378.”

Thanks for posting these, My grandad worked for the Wireless Shop fixing radios and televisions. I have his work trunk but it say it's in Pink Lane? I have photos of him in the shop surrounded by valves and bulbs.
