I found this advert in the 'Wolverhampton Express & Star' dated 14th December 1973:
“FOR RECORDS & TOYS ETC. Do not worry if the stores and stalls are closed Christmas Eve, our Record Stall will be open Friday, December 21, Saturday 22, and Monday, Christmas Eve, December 24 for the sale of toys, records and cassettes at discount prices. THE RECORD STALL, Brierley Hill Market, High Street, Brierley Hill.”

“My youth was spent in Brierley Hill Market, hanging out at the record stall, sifting through the 45's with my mates on a Saturday afternoon.”
... and this comment on a Facebook page called 'The only way is Dudley – Brierley Hill Market':
“There used to be a great record stall in Brierley Hill Market in the 1970s.”
