MAKE THIS A RECORD CHRISTMAS FOR CLASSICAL & POPULAR RECORDS, CASSETTES and 8-TRACK CARTRIDGES.” … and this classified advert in the 16th February 1972 edition: “GRAMOPHONE RECORDS: Full-time SUPERVISORS urgently required. Some classical knowledge essential. MIDLAND RECORD CENTRE 237 STRATFORD ROAD, SHIRLEY, SOLIHULL. Tel. 744 3048 and BIRMINGHAM CENTRE (above New Street Station).”
