I found this advert in the 'Lancashire Evening Post' dated 23rd November 1956: “THE RECORD SHOP 27, HOUGH LANE, LEYLAND 'Phone 81851. Don’t miss our Rock and Roll (Bill Haley, etc.) record selection at the Public Hall, Leyland.”
