I found this piece in the 'Sunday Sun (Newcastle)' dated 9th September 1984:
“[Q] I am having difficulty in trying to obtain a recording of the theme tune from 'Thunderbirds'. I am informed that this is unobtainable - J. Whittaker, Whitley Bay, Tyne & Wear.
[A] If you would care to call at The Record Box 13 Waterloo Street, Newcastle (Tel. Newcastle 614600) they inform me that they have a copy of this record in stock.”

I worked here from Oct 1988 to Jan 1990. Ramshackle little place with some excellent punk/new wave/2 Tone. Managed by a lad whose nickname was Sid who later changed the name of the shop to Waterloo Records. Was annexed by a pub called the Frog and Nightgown and demolished late 90s.
