I found this advert in the 'Runcorn Weekly News' dated 1st October 1970: “MUSIC ON RECORD FROM THE MUSIC SHOP 16 Regent Street, Runcorn & 134 Widnes Road, Widnes. UNDERGROUND, POP, CLASSICS, COUNTRY & WESTERN. We have them all just waiting for you to choose.” … and this advert in the 'Widnes Weekly News' dated 23rd March 1979: “THE MUSIC SHOP: 7 EDDISBURY SQUARE, FRODSHAM Tel: Frodsham 31136; 16 REGENT STREET, RUNCORN Tel: Runcorn 74364; 134 WIDNES ROAD, WIDNES Tel: Widnes 3365.”
