I found this caption on p4 of the 'Biggleswade Chronicle' dated 4th February 1983: “LADY Beecham, widow of the of the famous conductor, opened a new classical record department at Bedford Audio-Comm in Bedford Road, Kempston. The firm has been established for 12 years selling high quality hi-fi equipment and the new department, to be known as the Beecham Room, will specialise in recordings recommended by the leading monthly review magazines. A postal service is also available. With Lady Beecham at the opening (left) are the proprietor Alan Hawkins, Linda Hawkins and manageress Jacqueline Inskipp.”
