I found this in the 'Todmorden & District News' dated 2nd October 1987:
“SYSTEM RECORDS AND TAPES - ROCK * SOUL * INDEPENDENTS * REGGAE * JAZZ * ROCK AND ROLL * ETHNIC * COUNTRY * BLUES - NEW AND USED. OPEN MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th AT 40 MARKET STREET, HEBDEN BRIDGE.”
...and this in the 'Hebden Bridge Times' dated 11th December 1987:
