Supertone Radio

I found this advert in the 'Buckingham Examiner' dated 7th March 1969: “Looking for Stereo? Whichever way you look, you will find a good selection of Audio Equipment at SUPERTONE RADIO, 12 Chenies Parade, Little Chalfont. Tel. 3078. Your High-Fidelity Specialists.”

Dave Harwood's post brought back many memories of Supertone Radio. The proprietors in 1969 would have been Arthur and Muriel Fosker. They sold some very high quality audio gear - Garrard, Leak, Goodmans, Tandberg to name a few. Mr Fosker was always very obliging and by today's standards old school too. I remember he served in the shop in a suit and tie.
