I found an advert for Stan Jones Record Shop, Midland Road, Swadlincote, Derbyshire:

“Stan Jones Record Shop, Midland Road, Swadlincote.” (‘Burton Daily Mail’ 29th September 1973)

... I also found some info and a photo (attached) on a Facebook group ‘Photographs of Swadlincote’, and this comment about the photo: “Chris Waller: Stan Jones's shop is the white one just before the Cons. Club. (Midland Road, 1984).” I checked the address for the Conservative Club, which is at 7 Midland Road, Swadlincote and is the same building shown on the left in the photo, although the white shop is no longer there.
