I virtually lived in that shop during my teens as it was the only place to get decent music in Lincoln. I think the guy that ran it went on to open a specialist vinyl place a couple of years ago. Comment: Jitterpig

Wonderful record shop run by Jim Penistan, who I believe still has a vinyl store in Lincoln in a different location. Situated to one side of the Guildhall, Sonic Sounds was one of those places where the owner would remember you and have things you would actually want set aside as you walk in. Definitely the best place to go for records in Lincoln between 1997 and 2000, that's for sure!
