I found this in the 'West Briton & Cornwall Advertiser' dated 17th April 1997: “New floor open. Solo Music, one of Truro's foremost record retailers, who also have a branch in Exeter, successfully negotiated with the landlord to re-gear the lease and amalgamate the ground and first floor accommodation at 21 Pydar Street, Truro. The result is that Solo Music have an additional 900 sq ft of first floor sales space and extended and improved ground floor retail space.” ...and this in the 19th June 1997 edition: “Solo Music Independent Music Specialists, 21 Pydar Street. Truro. Tel.: 01872 223327.” ...and this in the 28th October 1999 edition: “Solo anniversary. CHAMPAGNE corks are sure to pop at Solo Music, Truro, where they celebrate their 10th anniversary. Solo Music has stores in Exeter and Barnstaple and is the biggest independent music store in the South West. To celebrate the anniversary the store has some special offers.”
