I found this in the 'Eastbourne Gazette' dated 24th November 1976:
“SEAFORD MUSIC CENTRE, 35 SOUTH STREET. Tel. 23403. (Also at 23 Dane Road, Seaford).”
...and this in the 9th September 1977 edition:
“SPOTLIGHT ON SEAFORD MUSIC CENTRE. Music and records have been sold for many years on the premises currently occupied by the Seaford Music Centre. It is only, however, in the past decade that the company has achieved its present reputation, which extends far beyond the boundaries of Seaford. Under the directorship of Mr and Mrs Roger Young and Mr Brian Robins, the business offers a high standard of service to musicians and music lovers, which is backed by a comprehensive stock. An extensive commitment to the educational sector has resulted in many important school accounts and the Seaford Music Centre is also the official supplier of records to the Glyndebourne Festival Opera.”
