I found this in the 'Rochdale Observer' dated 13th November 1965:
“SCHOFIELD, 53 Rooley Moor Road, Rochdale. JOIN OUR CHRISTMAS CLUB FOR TRANSISTOR RADIOS, TAPE RECORDERS AND RECORD PLAYERS, ETC.”
