I found this advert in the 'Leeds Mercury' dated 9th October 1934:
“R. S. KITCHEN 29/31, QUEEN VICTORIA ST., LEEDS. Tel. 22222. The largest Musical Instrument Stores in the Country. Easy Terms. Over 200 Models to Choose from.”
... and this in the 'Newcastle Evening Chronicle' dated 3rd February 1939:
“R. S. KITCHEN Ltd. A “HOUSEHOLD” WORD. BARGAINS! BARGAINS!! BARGAINS!!! SECOND-HAND ACCORDIONS - HOHNER, FRONTALINI, Etc., In Perfect Order. NEW DELLA ACCORDIONS. ALSO BARGAINS IN DRUM KITS, SAXOPHONES. 3 RIDLEY PLACE (off Northumberland St.), NEWCASTLE-ON-TYNE.”
