It was a friendly shop. Great people. Discovered interesting new groups,sounds. Matthew Sweet and Ulrich Schnauss to name 2. Even had a record label and put gigs on. Sadly missed just like Nottingham's Selectadisc.

Comment: Reveal Records was originally located in Sadlergate. It was a great shop and outgrew the premises - able to relocate to a prime facility on St. Peter's Street. Bought dozens of CDs in there (and also vinyl - at a time when it was becoming more scarce). The staff were knowledgeable and great. Boss Tom Rose went on to bigger things with his Reveal & Navigator record labels, signing some of the finest folk/roots/indie artists from the UK & beyond. Thanks for all the great music Tom & co - we miss the record shop though!
