I found this in the 'Western Evening Herald' dated 9th June 1998: “Tavistock’s most individual record shop has to be Red Planet Records. It’s just off Market Street and is a lot easier to find than most people think. The name comes from the acronym of the staff’s names – Mary, Andy, Roger and Zoe spells MARZ - which of course is the Red Planet. They stock an excellent selection of CDs from chart singles to world music. Vinyl isn’t dead at Red Planet - if you want it their ordering service will probably be able to get it. The ordering service accounts for about half the business. Red Planet also has a website and an e-mail ordering facility. The website contains information on the shop, a list of the catalogue's highlights and a map so you can find it! Terrestrial visitors can find the shop opposite the Co-op next to Mainly Music.”
