Ray's Jazz Shop

I only visited Ray's Jazz Shop a couple of times but the staff there were extremely helpful to me. I asked if they remembered a subtitled Swedish jazz film, called 'Sven Klang's Combo' that was broadcast on BBC2 in the early 1980s and, after searching in a back room, they found the original Swedish soundtrack album for me! They only had a few copies left so I bought it, even though it was a bit pricey, being an import.

On a visit to London in 2003, I bought a Gerry Mulligan and the Concert Jazz Band live at the Village Vanguard CD in Ray's Jazz Shop within Foyles bookshop in Charing Cross Road.
