The shop was next to The Regent in Poole. The lovely owner let me buy singles by paying 10p per week. Remember buying Elton John's 'Rocket Man' there (in a picture sleeve). Obviously, I still have it.

Comment: In the 1960s this shop was near the Regal Cinema and not far from The George roundabout. Later it moved into a unit on the first floor of the new shopping centre. I remember the manager, who ran the shop for many years, as being very polite and rather shy.
