I found this in the 'Grimsby Daily Telegraph' dated 26th January 1956:
“PERRITTS FOR RECORDS! Yes, we have been Record Enthusiasts (or Gramophiles if you prefer) for well over twenty years so we really should know something about it. It has been said “If you can’t get it at Perritts you can’t get it anywhere.” Well we aren’t so sure about that but we really do our best. TOP TWENTY ALWAYS in STOCK. 78’s, LP’s WE SELL EVERY MAKE! CHARLES PERRITT LTD., 242 FREEMAN ST., GRIMSBY.”
