I found this piece in the 'Illustrated London News' dated 16th November 1968: “One of the main dangers that confronts valuable records is that they can become warped if they are not kept upright, away from heat and damp. The record holder that has been tested and proved under the extremes of tropical conditions and has in fact enjoyed success all over the world is the Paddock Tidy; there is a model priced at 58s 6d. It is a shelf model able to store 100 records. It has spring loaded panels which keep the discs upright, gently pressed together to prevent warping yet allowing for easy removal or replacement.”

I still have two of these bought around the time of the article (1968)
