Comment: I'm pretty sure that's the record shop where I used to drive the manager crazy by asking for all the weird and wonderful stuff that John Peel used to play! I still have my personally autographed 12" single by Bananarama when they were doing a promotion there. Guess that was all back around 1984-86.

I found this advert in the 'Reading Evening Post' dated 14th December 1978: “OPUS ONE 38 King Street, Maidenhead (between the post office and the market). Open Monday-Saturday 9am-6pm. Telephone: Maidenhead 24817.”
