I found this advert in the 'Edinburgh Evening News' dated 23rd October 1928: “A SMALL deposit secures a His Master's Voice gramophone, balance monthly. Particulars from agent, Nicolson, 1 Haddington Place, Leith Walk. ABSOLUTELY the largest stock of gramophones and records in Scotland; gramophones from 27s 6d; records of every make and every title, from 1s 3d; Savoy records, 6d.”
