I found this in the 'Liverpool Daily Post' dated 11th August 1999: “Dave Davies, owner of Moonlight Records in Bridge Street, Wrexham is letting his shop assistant close the store for up to 20 minutes to enjoy the eclipse. Mr Davies said yesterday: “Brian is working for me tomorrow and I told him to close up for 10 or 20 minutes to have a look at it. I don’t want him to miss it.”
