I found this in the 'Manchester Evening News' dated 25th April 1950: “A New Gramophone Record Department - Have you visited the new and enlarged department with its gramophone records and display of portable gramophones? Listening booths are also provided so that you can make your selection in the Music Department — Fifth Floor, KENDAL MILNE & CO., DEANSGATE, MANCHESTER.”
