I found this in the 'Manchester Evening News' dated 1st May 1996: “POPULAR: Although Madame Buggalugs has been open only around 18 months it has become very popular with customers of all ages. The shop has a fantastic range of items including books, records, CDs, stamps and postcards The stock is a mixture of new and used goods and is constantly changing day to day making it a treasure trove of surprises. The chances are you’ll go in looking for one thing and come out with a bagful of others! For such a small shop Madame Buggalugs has gained a reputation for good quality well-priced stock - it also has a great atmosphere! Madame Buggalugs is on Church Street, Eccles (next to the church) It is easily accessible by car, bus or train.”
