Well recall this place as a vinyl collector in the late 1970s through to my last visit around 1995 (would need to check that). They were a touch pricey, especially for us out-of-towners - there was one album I fancied on my first visit, too expensive, still there on my last 20 years later, by then in terrible condition but at the same price. A friend once went in to check a rare £90 album advertised in Record Collector. The assistant phoned upstairs, and they refused to bring it down for him to see! Very grubby shop, poorly arranged and displayed stock, but we still kept going... so remembered, but not fondly.
