John Hutchins At the top of Castleford Road ther was Levys, the record and music shop, Rushtons Chemist, an electrical shop on the corner of Stratford Road and Showell Green Lane and Capewells the newsagents. My dad used to send me to Capewell's on a Sunday morning for his cigarettes and the papers. Once I was sent with a -very rare – 5 pound note and Mr. Capewell charged 1/- to change it!
