I found this advertorial in the 'Middlesex Chronicle' dated 6th December 1974: “IF you are thinking of buying someone a Christmas present in the record range, call in at Leonard Beakhurst Ltd. 1112 and 1000 Uxbridge Road, Hayes. Here they can offer customers full service in all forms of recorded music. Established 20 years, the store suggests as gift ideas records from 87p, cassette and cartridge tapes, record tokens from 25p and record and tape storage and carrying cases.”
