Name: Simon Curtis Comment: I know the Kiosk used to sell singles but does anyone remember that the corner building opposite (built as something like Pearl Assurance House?) and on the corner of Finkle Street was briefly (amongst many other things over the years) a record shop opened by the Kiosk as just a record shop? Strangely enough it was called the Kiosk Record Shop and was in about 1978 to 1981 or 1982? It was where I bought my first ‘serious' LP, All Mod Cons by The Jam.
