I found this in the 'Peterborough Evening Telegraph' dated 17th December 1954:
“J. H. OBERMAN & SONS LTD., 16/18 HIGH STREET, HIGHAM FERRERS. Tel. Rushden 2162 and 3 HIGH STREET, WELLINGBOROUGH. Tel.: Wellingborough 3556. Tried and Trusted for the Past 36 Years.”
...and this in the 'Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph' dated 13th January 1966:
“SALE of RADIOGRAMS and RECORDS - Decca 700 Teak Radiogram, £117.12.0 REDUCED TO £95; Ultra 6308 Radiogram, including 5 Long Playing Records, £61.19.0. REDUCED TO £55; Two Only - Ultra Record Players, including Five Pop Records of Own Choice 153 gns.; A Few Pop Singles at 2/- and L.P.s at 10/- OBERMAN'S, HIGH STREET, HIGHAM FERRERS. Phone Rushden 2162.”
