Name: Simon Strutt
Comment: Run by Kevin Strutt (and his brother) aka The Strutt Brothers, Influential Music Exchange record shop in Bromley (1994-1999 ) grew from its expanding Greenwich Market hang-out base.

It sold and exchanged all music genres at fair prices - new and secondhand, soul, jazz, rock, specialising in indie rock from when the scene was at its peak with 'real' buying followers (Oasis - Blur - Verve).

Likewise, the shop also specialised in hip hop when it was also at its peak, offering US imports (A Tribe Called Quest - Pete Rock & CL Smooth - Gang Starr) and UK rap - hence the name 'Influential', named after 691 Influential Records - an indie hip hop label run by successful artist and rapper Blade.

It also stocked many genres of dance/house music with many rare hot promo records for upfront DJs.
