The first record I ever bought (in the 1950s) was a 10inch 78rpm single. The brown paper sleeve has the following info stamped on it: IH Records, 165 Railway Approach, W12.
Can anyone remember the full name? It was Shepherds Bush Market but not the more famous W.G Stores 100 yards away.

With reference to the comment above, this piece in the 'Acton Gazette' dated 9th April 1954, suggests that the full name of IH Records is probably 'Ivor Harrison Records':
“FACING THE MUSIC - A thief entered the lock-up music-shop of Mr. Ivor Harrison at 165 Railway Approach, Shepherds Bush, some time between 7 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. A wireless set, mouth-organs and cash, together valued about £75, were stolen.”
