I found this in the 'South Wales Echo' dated 18th January 1983: “The Royal Arcade came first, built more than 100 years ago. The Morgan Arcade runs parallel to the Royal and was built in the 1890’s to complement it. They have altered little over the years and now contain some 40 shops, the many new fronts blending in well with the old.”
...and this in the 18th February 1983 edition:
“HOULDEN HI-FI - Instant credit facilities available. Come and hear real High Fidelity in our new Listening Room in Morgan Arcade, CARDIFF. Tel. 4401.”
...and this in the 19th November 1983 edition:
“Complete range of compact disc players in stock, demonstrations in our listening room. Prices start from £399. HOULDEN HI-FI 27 Arcade. Tel. Cardiff 44011.”
...plus this in the 9th December 1983 edition:
“HOULDEN HI-FI, THE HAYES, CARDIFF. Tel. 44011.”
