I found this in the 'Sevenoaks Chronicle' dated 8th September 1922: “HUMAN VOICE” Spend 3/9 and make your Gramophone sound like the “HUMAN VOICE”. Horace Gough, a “Repairer with a Reputation,” 120, CAMDEN ROAD, TUNBRIDGE WELLS.” ...and this in the 4th September 1931 edition: “Horace Gough, Piano Expert. CLOSING SALE. 120, Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells. Organ 20 gns.; Piano 20 gns.; Records from 6d., or 5s. a dozen; Violins, Bows and small goods all marked at lowest figure; Sound Boxes from 1s.; Music from 1d.”
...and this in the 4th September 1931 edition:
