I found this notice in the 'Nottingham Evening Post' dated 6th December 1946:
“Nottingham Master Printer's Death - The death occurred yesterday of a well-known Nottingham businessman, Mr. Henry F. Elwin, of 'Roscrea', Bingham Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent. Mr. Elwin had been a director of Henry Elwin, Ltd., printers, Plumptre Street, Nottingham, for 26 years. He joined the firm (founded by his father) before the First World War.”
