I found this in the 'Liverpool Echo' dated 9th March 1928: “Always buy your Brunswick Records from HAYMAN'S MUSIC STORES LTD., 35, MOORFIELDS, LIVERPOOL.”
...and this on page 11 of the 4th March 1929 edition: “A novel method of demonstrating gramophone records has been adopted by Hayman's Music Stores, Moorfields. The current from an electric pick-up on the gramophone is amplified by a Marconiphone amplifier and the music projected from a loud speaker facing the street. Announcements of the records played are made from the speaker by means of a microphone. The volume can be controlled from a roar to a whisper.”
...and this in the 3rd March 1930 edition:
“BUILD UP A RECORD COLLECTION - COME AND RUMMAGE AMONG 20,000 RECORDS. SONGS! DANCE! OPERA! COMEDY! HAYMAN'S MUSIC STORES, LTD., 35, MOORFIELDS.”
