I found this in the 'Aldershot News' dated 22nd October 1920: “WALLIS'S SALE NOW ON – Come and hear “WYOMING LULLABY”, “When that Harvest Moon is Shining”, “SWANEE”, “And He'd Say: Oo-la-la, Wee-Wee”, “ALICE BLUE GOWN” (from “Irene”) and all the Latest GRAMOPHONE RECORDS – COLUMBIA, REGAL, WINNER, PATHE. WALLIS’S (Next General Post Office) ALDERSHOT. MACHINES from £5.9.6. USE WALLIS NEEDLES.” ...and this in the 17th December 1920 edition: “WALLIS'S, Next General Post Office, Aldershot, hold the largest stock of REGAL and other 3s. Records in the district.” ...and this in the 31st December 1920 edition: “69 SHILLINGS WILL BUY A GRAMOPHONE AT WALLIS'S Next General Post Office, ALDERSHOT where you will find the LARGEST STOCK of 5/- RECORDS in the District. REPAIRS, NEEDLES, ACCESSORIES.”
...and this in the 17th December 1920 edition:
“WALLIS'S, Next General Post Office, Aldershot, hold the largest stock of REGAL and other 3s. Records in the district.”
...and this in the 31st December 1920 edition:
“69 SHILLINGS WILL BUY A GRAMOPHONE AT WALLIS'S Next General Post Office, ALDERSHOT where you will find the LARGEST STOCK of 5/- RECORDS in the District. REPAIRS, NEEDLES, ACCESSORIES.”
