I found this in the 'Spalding Guardian' dated 31st January 1920: “One shilling increase in the price of Double-Sided Records on and after February 2nd. Replenish your stock from Penistan's Before the Rise in Price. H. H. PENISTAN 16, Broad Street, SPALDING.” ...and this in the 9th September 1938 edition: “CLARKE'S MUSICAL SERVICES, COMMENCING TO-DAY (FRIDAY), A GREAT CLEARANCE SALE of the late H. H. PENISTAN'S STOCK OF NEW and USED PIANOS, ORGANS, PLAYER PIANOS, RADIO, RADIOGRAMS, ACCORDEONS and INSTRUMENTS OF ALL KINDS AT UNHEARD-OF PRICES!! 16, BROAD STREET, SPALDING.”
...and this in the 9th September 1938 edition:
