'Tonbridge Free Press' dated 4th February 1916:”H. MORLEY PHILLIPS & CO., Ltd. (LATE W. PHILLIPS) SOLE AGENTS FOR 'HIS MASTER'S VOICE' GRAMOPHONES & RECORDS (DOUBLE SIDED). STATION APPROACH, TONBRIDGE. ALSO AT BROMLEY & SEVENOAKS.”...and this on page 3 of the same edition:“TRADE NOTE. Messrs. H. Morley Phillips and Co., Ltd. (Late W. Phillips), of Station Approach, Tonbridge (it will be seen by an advertisement elsewhere in this issue), are sole agents for His Master's Voice gramophones, records and accessories, at their pianoforte, music and gramophone stores, and they also undertake high-class pianoforte tuning at strictly moderate charges. The business is now under the personal supervision of Mr. D. M. Phillips (a nephew of the late Mr. W. Phillips), the managing-director, who has had 20 years experience in the pianoforte trade. The head office is 5 Aberdeen Buildings, High Street, Bromley, and there is a branch at 65 London Road, Sevenoaks.”...and this in the 5th September 1919 edition:"H. MORLEY PHILLIPS & CO., LIMITED, Station Approach, TONBRIDGE. Beg to announce that they are removing on September 17th to new premises at 142 HIGH STREET, TONBRIDGE. Pianos, Music, Gramophones, Records. Make a note of the Address.”
